Rond kwart over twee is de netspanning weggevallen. De noodstroominstallaties hebben deze onderbreking opgevangen. Tijdens het schakelen naar noodstroom is de koelinfrastructuur, zoals ontworpen, kortstondig uit geweest. De koelinfra wordt gevoed door de aggregaten zonder tussenkomst van UPS-sets. Als gevolg hiervan is de temperatuur kortstondig met maximaal enkele graden verhoogd geweest. Inmiddels is de temperatuur in alle ruimtes weer op regulier niveau. De netspanning is terug en de datacenters zijn teruggeschakeld naar netspanning.

At around a quarter past two utility power was disrupted. The emergency power installations worked as designed and provided power to all datacenters. During the switch to emergency power our cooling infrastructure was offline shortly, which is by design. The cooling infrastructure is only powered by the generator sets, not by batteries. As a result of the short downtime of the cooling infrastructure, temperatures in the datacenters have been increased by a few degrees for a short period of time. At this moment, temperatures are back to normal, the utility power has returned and the datacenters have switched back.
