Omstreeks 11.04 werd een gedeeltelijke netwerkverstoring opgemerkt in BIT-2A. Omstreeks 11.10 herstelde zich dit weer. De oorzaak van dit probleem is nog in onderzoek door onze engineers.

De oorzaak van het probleem was dat de desbetreffende switch tijdelijk de hoeveelheid verkeer niet aankon, de impact is beperkt gebleven tot 1 switchpaar. Maatregelen worden getroffen om de impact hiervan in de toekomst te verkleinen.

Around 11:04 we noticed a partial network disruption in BIT-2a. Around 11:10 it recovered. The cause of this disruption is under investigation by our engineers.

The cause of this disruption was that the switch temporarily could not handle the amount of traffic, the impact was limited to the switch pair. Measures will be taken to limit the impact in the future.
