Tijdens de maandelijkse noodstroomaggregaattest op BIT-1 is het aggregaat defect geraakt. Dit heeft niet tot uitval van de stroomvoorziening in BIT-1 geleid.

De apparatuur in BIT-1 wordt nu gevoed door de reguliere stroomvoorziening en de UPS is beschikbaar indien de reguliere stroomvoorziening wegvalt. Het aggregaat is momenteel niet beschikbaar om langdurige stroomuitval op te vangen. Voor de datacenters BIT-2A en BIT-2BCD zijn de aggregaten N+1 uitgevoerd, er is dus altijd reservecapaciteit. Voor BIT-1, een datacenter dat alleen gebruikt wordt voor failover en active-active setups is er één aggregaat. De leverancier is ingeschakeld om het aggregaat weer beschikbaar te maken of om een nieuw aggregaat te plaatsen. Zodra daar meer over bekend is wordt deze melding geüpdatet.

De leverancier zal een vervangend aggregaat plaatsen. Zodra duidelijk is hoe laat dat zal gebeuren, wordt deze melding bijgewerkt.

De leverancier zal over ongeveer anderhalf uur een vervangend aggregaat plaatsen. Zodra dit is uitgevoerd, wordt deze melding bijgewerkt.

De leverancier is gearriveerd en is bezig het aggregaat te vervangen.

Het aggregaat is vervangen en getest. De noodstroomvoorziening is hiermee wederom intact. De oorzaak van het defect is in onderzoek.

During the monthly test of the emergency power supply the diesel aggregate on BIT-1 has broken down. The power supply in BIT-1 has not been disrupted.

BIT-1 is now powered by the regular power facilities en the UPS is available for failure in the power supply. The aggregate is unavailable and will not be activated in case of sustained power failure. Datacenters BIT-2A and BIT-2BCD have N+1 aggregates, which means there is spare capacity. Since BIT-1 is only in use for fail over and active-active scenario's the aggregate there is not redundant. The supplier of the aggregate has been informed to either repair the machine or replace it. As soon as more information becomes available this report will be updated.

The supplier will replace the diesel aggregate. This report will be updated when the expected arrival time of the machine is known.

The supplier will replace the aggregate in about one and a half hours. When this is done this report will be updated.

The supplier has arrived and is in the process of replacing the aggregate.

The aggregate has been replaced and tested. The emergency power supply is therefore functional again. The cause of the failure is under investigation.
