Vandaag rond 17.00 uur heeft het BIT netwerk een verstoring gehad die alle diensten heeft getroffen. Omdat www.bit.nl niet bereikbaar was zijn de storing en updates erover geplaatst op www.bit.org/status. U kunt daar het verloop van de storing terug lezen. Inmiddels zijn alle diensten hersteld. De storing is veroorzaakt door een corrupte configuratie van alle leaf switches. Waar die corruptie door veroorzaakt is, is nog in onderzoek. Een RFO over deze storing zal op onze site gepubliceerd worden.

At around 17:00h today the BIT network became completely unavailable which had its effect on all services. Because www.bit.nl was unavailable the incident and updates on the incident have been posted on www.bit.org/status. The incident course can be seen on that site. All services have been restored. The outage was caused by a corrupt configuration on all leaf swtches. The root cause of that corruption is still under investigation. We will publish a RFO on our site.
