We zijn bezig met het oplossen van een verstoring in het beheersysteem voor virtuele machines in de BIT NL Cloud. Draaiende virtuele machines ondervinden geen hinder van deze verstoring maar het starten, stoppen en instellen van virtuele machines in de BIT NL Cloud kan hier wel overlast door ervaren. Engineers van BIT doen hun best dit zo spoedig mogelijk te herstellen.

Het probleem is herleid naar een Out Of Memory situatie waardoor de samenwerking tussen diverse componenten van slag is geraakt. Een en ander is herstart en werkt weer naar behoren.

We're currently experiencing some trouble in the virtual machine management layer of our BIT NL Cloud. Running virtual machines are not impacted but customers wishing to start, stop or otherwise configure virtual machines in the BIT NL Cloud may experience trouble. BIT Engineers are working hard to solve the issue!

The problem was found to be an Out of Memory situation, causing certain components of the system to lose track of who's doing what. And why. Services have been restarted and are behaving normal again.
